The Western Washington Disaster Preparedness (WWDP) group relies on many active volunteers to continue it’s mission to provide life-saving preparedness resources and training to friends and neighbors, but none was more impactful than the group’s founder, Ryan Lynch.
Ryan’s talent, selfless support of others and endless enthusiasm for the cause of saving lives in the event of any of a number of Worse Case Scenarios was an inspiration to those Puget Sounders lucky enough to join his orbit.
Sadly, our much-beloved WWDP president Ryan died in February 2024 of cancer, robbing his family, friends and community of an inspiring voice, community asset and much beloved friend, son and husband.
You were the kind of friend who made the world brighter just by being in it. Slán go fóill, until we meet again.
